Ritual at the confluence of the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers, July 2016

Drawing on my experiences as a writer, curator, and yoga/mediation teacher, I lead workshops that offer structures for participants to attune more deeply to themselves, one another, and their surroundings.

I respond to the specific goals of the workshop group, bringing together mindful movement, immersive meditations of my own design, and site-specific rituals to create space for reflection and breakthrough. Together, we move through energetic blockages to meet something pressing in our lives. Workshops to support fellow artists also bring in generative exercises and consultation with the Tarot to surface information you need to continue in your creative process, whether you're stuck on a work-in-progress or ready to begin something new.

Whatever the workshop content, I create a container that is structured enough to hold attention, and open enough for you to shape it into something that is useful to you in the present moment.

I have done this work in various contexts — in response to exhibitions at PLUG Projects and the H&R Block Artspace in Kansas City, for Shakespeare Festival St. Louis' teen performance squad, for artists and writers at the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, and in homes, public parks, small businesses. Email me for more information or to book a workshop.
