Astrology
After studying astrology on my own for years, in 2023 I completed the Year 1 Apprentice Program in Steven Forrest’s Center for Evolutionary Astrology. I learned how to read the natal chart (the galactic blueprint of your birth) in a nuanced way that emphasizes your free will.
In an evolutionary reading, the astrologer empowers you to navigate that blueprint with self-awareness. We also look at the “chart behind the chart:” the karmic tangles that a soul carries into this life, and suggestions for how to evolve out of those knots.
As a poet, I’m fascinated by this symbolic system. The planets and their relationships with one another hold many layers of meaning, and that story builds & evolves from the moment you first breathe.

I'm offering a few options:
$90 for an hour-long natal chart reading, unpacking the meanings of each planet and the lessons they’re offering you in this lifetime
$160 for two readings: first the natal chart, and a second session where we’ll get to know your “nodal story:” what the nodes of the moon are showing you about old habits and how to break them
For an additional $30, you can add on a three-card Tarot reading to either session. This is a fun, playful option (hey, Tarot started as a game) to merge the relatively modern technology of Tarot with the ancient technology of astrology.
What to expect
During our time together, I’ll screen-share your chart and use iPhemeris (an astrology program) to walk you through it, a few planets at a time, so the information builds in a way that’s easy to follow. You don’t have to know a thing about astrology! It’s my job to read the mechanics, then translate them into a story that’s helpful to you.
You’ll have a supportive space to ask questions, and I’ll guide you through the pockets of light and shade on your path.
Afterward, I’ll craft a unique poetic text that synthesizes my preparatory notes and our conversation, to share with you as a source of continuing inspiration. My intention is to help you cultivate clarity and self-awareness.
By bringing attention to this symbolic structure that shows us ourselves, we get to better know our motivations. From there, we can discern & strengthen our next steps forward.
